Everyone Dies In Utah are a metalcore band from Texas U.S.A. Metalcore isn't a genre I'm overly familiar with and only really dip my toe in to if I'm honest. Always willing to give something a try, the new single 'X' from EDIU actually grabbed me from the first listen. For me it's similar to Atreyu and Killswitch Engage. That probably shows how much I know about the genre. What I can tell you that I do know is I enjoyed it. To my English ears the sound is very American. That's not a problem for me so if it is for you then maybe you should look elsewhere. Having looked back through a bit of their back catalogue It seems this track might be considered a ballad. It is also the most polished from the production side of things. If you don't like the sound of this track because it's not 'heavy' enough then check out their previous work because it isn't a great representation of their sound.
